Event Description
Venue: Ballymena Town Centre – exact location of registration to be confirmed.
Lagan Valley Orienteers and Ballymena Runners Urban Orienteering activity.
📝 Registration and dibber (electronic timing) collection from 6pm.
📣 Briefing – There will be an important race briefing held at 6.45pm.
🟢 Start – there will be a mass start at 7pm.
🗺 Course – there will be a 1 hour Score course. Collect as many controls and points within a 1 hour limit. Controls will be worth 10, 20, 30 or 40 points. There is a strict 1 hour deadline – points will be deducted for late return – 20 points per minute (or part minute).
👨👩👧👦 All ages and abilities welcome. But please be aware the course will involve road crossings, so for safety and insurance reasons, U16’s are NOT permitted to run unattended, they must be accompanied on the course at all times by a supervising adult.
