Exceptional JHI Performance

We had a very small representation from LVO on the JHI squad this yearbut we are exceptionally proud of first-year M14, James Ewart who had asuperb run on the individual day to finish 2nd overall, and win the awardfor Best Irish Performance of the weekend. Some statistician with time tospare can fact-check for me but I don’t think we have had as high aplacing before. With James’ energy and dedication  to the sport we canlook forward to seeing him develop and wish him many more successes in thefuture. Stephanie P

WEE Age/Gender Handicap Results

Earlier this evening Alan published the hCalf results for the first of the competitive WEE events in 2023. hCalf provides a competitive format for all, including those who may have a long term injury. In the past the WEE series had a handicap system for age and gender. Encouraged by the wishes of LVO members, the Committee decided this should be restored. An Account of the Bob Graham Round

Andrew and Alan Elwood have written an account of their Bob Graham Round. It is an interesting read, showing just how much preparation and logistic support is required if you are to attempt a challenge on this scale. The account goes beyond a description of what happened during the 24 hours.
