Get those diaries back out. After a couple of months of trying to master WordPress I think I have all this years NI events up on the fixtures list – along with some other major events in Ireland and UK.
In the past there has been some criticism of inconsistencies in event details between various websites. For this reason I have kept the detail on the LVO website to a minimum for non LVO events, but I have included a link to the originating website within the event details (just click on event in fixture list to see the link). Please use this to confirm the final details including date. I’ll try to pick up any changes by other clubs but can’t guarantee to spot everything.
There are also many more events available which members might want to try (too many for my typing skills), so thanks to Jeff we have also added a range of links within the Fixtures drop down menu to allow quick access to other club and association websites, so that you can browse and decide for yourselves. I have found the BOF interactive map particularly useful for spotting evening events when travelling with work in the UK. If anyone has any suggestions for other links just let me know.
