Lagan Valley Orienteers Autumn Trophy 3 is this Saturday 27th October at the National Trust site on Divis and Black Mountain, just above Belfast. Starts will be from 11:30 am until 1 pm, with parking and registration by the cafe on the road towards the masts.
Please note that until today starts were shown on the BOF and LVO Events list as 1:30 – 3pm. Starts are 11:30 am – 1 pm!
The courses offered will be
- Yellow 2.3k, 35m climb
- Orange 2.9k, 70m climb
- Green 5k, 190m climb
Given that this is an exposed mountain area please bring cagoules and whistles in case they are required. Saturday’s weather looks like bright but cold. The Car Park at the cafe will be open from 10 am and the cafe will be open from 11 am until 4 pm, so take the opportunity to have a snack or some food after you’ve had your run.
