The 2016 fixture list has been updated. Most notably is the change of date for the NI Long Distance Championships & VHI Individual to the 3rd September. To facilitate this the dates for NICS 4 & 5 have been re-jigged. The provisional date for the Lisburn City Race has been changed to the Sunday 11th September. Fixtures added include VHI relay, Autumn Trophys, NICS 6 and locations for the August WEEs.

On Saturday before the score race at Crawfordsburn there will be the chance to warm up  by taking part in some compass and pacing practice. This will involve maps with only the control circles and connecting lines left on them. All other detail will have been removed. The challenge will be to stay on the right bearing and pace out the correct distance to find a small kite that will not be very visible from a distance. Assembly point at main carpark beside Café Registration from 11.00 at the MOO Start will be at 12.00 with a 5 min walk to the start The score will be for 45 minutes Event Fees Prize Giving will take place in the Visitor Centre between 1.30pm and 2.30pm. As well as Trophies for the LVO Championships which were held at Meelmore, prizes will be awarded for performances in the Spring Cup and Autumn Trophy events.
Two of our juniors, Rachel and Andrew, took on the Armagh city race on a cold Thur evening on the 18 Feb 16. It was a busy night with athletes from all over the country and indeed world taking part. Both our our athletes took on a hard and fast 3 km race around the Mall in Armagh city centre. With lots of people there to cheer them on and plenty of atmosphere there were some unbelievable times from the winners. To all current LVO champions. This years club prize giving will be at the Club Score competition on 27th February at Crawfordsburn. So that the trophies can be presented we need them back!
