Another fine night last week saw 28 club members and visitors enjoy a wide ranging and splashy run around Musgrave Park in the dark. Conor’s cunning plan successfully kept everyone going for the allotted 45 minutes despite the small size of the park. This week we meet in Barnett Demesne in the car park beside Malone House. Autumn Trophy 2 – Donard Forest

Unfortunately LVO’s Autumn Trophy event at Donard Forest scheduled for Saturday 29th October has been postponed. It is hoped to stage the event in early December instead. Apologies for the late notification. The Junior training that was planned to run prior to the Autumn Trophy is also postponed.  It is hoped that it will take place prior to the re-arranged date for the main event when it is known.

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers required to support the NICS sponsored by LVO to collect and deliver the MOO to Ballykinler and recover. Computer operators for registration and results couple for starts. Everyone will be able to run if required. Registration from 1130.  First runner 1200, last runner 1300. Car registration, address will be reqd in advance.  Photographic ID will be reqd on the day. 2nd Lisburn City Race

The Second Lisburn City Race takes place on Saturday 24 September 2016 from the Lisburn Leisureplex, Lisburn BT28 1LP. Registration will be at the LVO Mobile Orienteering Office which will be parked up in the Leisureplex carpark. This will likely be in the car park section bejond the main building as you drive in. Registration is from 11.30 with starts between 12.00 and 13.00. Club event fees of £9 per adult, £7 per senior/unwaged and £3 per junior or £17 per family apply.
