Athletics Northern Ireland will host Dr Stephen Seiler, Professor of Sports Science at the University of Adger in Norway, to deliver a seminar on training balance for endurance athletes “Intensify or Extend? Balancing Training Prescription across the Distance Running Range” The seminar is aimed at endurance athletes training for middle and long distance events and their coaches. This innovative Training weekend is aimed at ALL orienteers – adult & junior – and will include a Friday evening workshop, training exercises, training race, physical training workshop and more… The Training Camp is for orienteers of all ages and levels of experience – beginner, intermediate, advanced, elite. The weekend will be led by GEN’s David Healy with support from senior squad orienteers.
