As most of you will know, together we (all three NI orienteering clubs) are hosting the British Sprint and Middle Distance Champs along with the TrailO Champs in early May this year. 🏆The British Champs are blue ribband events in the UK Orienteering competition calendar and will attract hundreds of participants from across the UK and beyond. What a great day! 👍Thank you to everyone who came along to compete in our first Club Championship event of the year. 🌞Weather was as great as the ‘running’ and the craic. All of us (60+ participants) who attended the Indoor-O at Ballyclare High School, were given a good test, courtesy of Stephen Gilmore’s masterly planning skills. Those of us with previous experience on this map, tried to use this to our advantage, but, with out of bounds and one way systems in place, it was a fresh challenge.
