Registration for this Saturdays Autumn Trophy 2 Event at Donard Forest, Newcastle will be in the over-spill area just above Donard Car Park at the southern end of town from 11.00am. Starts from 11.30am until 1.00pm with course closure at 3.00pm ( we need to allow sufficient time for controls to be safely collected before dark). Course details are as follows Green – 4.0k – 115m Orange – 2.4k – 75m Yellow – 2.1k – 50m
The Autumn Trophy 2 event postponed from the end of October will now take place this Saturday 3rd of December in Donard Forest, just above Donard Park in Newcastle. This event will be run on a new map as the area has recently been resurveyed and the map fully updated.
CASTLEWARD event scheduled for 19th November CANCELLED. Subject to National Trust approval this venue will be used in March 2017 for one of the Spring Cup events. However the DONARD FOREST event which had to be postponed due to lack of officials, will now take place on Saturday December 3rd. Full details to follow. The Club 2017 programme is being prepared. Volunteers are needed at all levels. Organisers, Planners, Controllers, MOO towers and operators, people to man the starts and others. Unfortunately LVO’s Autumn Trophy event at Donard Forest scheduled for Saturday 29th October has been postponed. It is hoped to stage the event in early December instead. Apologies for the late notification. The Junior training that was planned to run prior to the Autumn Trophy is also postponed. It is hoped that it will take place prior to the re-arranged date for the main event when it is known.
Volunteers required to support the NICS sponsored by LVO to collect and deliver the MOO to Ballykinler and recover. Computer operators for registration and results couple for starts. Everyone will be able to run if required. Registration from 1130. First runner 1200, last runner 1300. Car registration, address will be reqd in advance. Photographic ID will be reqd on the day.
