🗺Adventurous August!

Have you come back from holiday or recovering from the Seven Sevens and fancy something fun to do during the rest of the Summer? Well there is lots of Orienteering planned this month to enjoy!

🏠 Have you tried out one of Graeme’s urban courses yet? If so, you know you will be in for some fun running around a new area with a new map! If not, get yourself down to lovely Markethill this Wednesday evening and see what you have been missing out on.

🌳 Graeme has more instore for us to enjoy on Sunday 11th in the neighbouring Gosford Forest Park – with bike trails and adventure play parks you can make this a great day out with family and friends.

🏃‍♀️ Wednesday evening fun continues with a few WEE extra activities thrown in this month. First up, on Wed 14th, we will be using a new map and exploring the lovely grounds of Mount Stewart, followed by Campbell College on Wed 21st, which few of us have visited in recent years. So two new areas to explore!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 There are Community events in lovely forest parks which would be perfect for you to invite friends and family along to and introduce to our sport. Get out and explore Gortin Forest (Mon 12th), Mount Stewart (Wed 14th, NT entrance price not included) and Cairn Wood (Fri 16th).

🏆 Use these events and activities to sharpen your skills for the next NI Colour Series Event at the end of the month and the upcoming Autumn events. Northwest Orienteering Club are hosting the 5th Colour Series race on Sat 31st in Moydamlaght Forest.
