🦂 Those of us who managed to get to Barnet’s on Wednesday found out that the August WEE Series had a bit of a sting in its tail – which I felt in in my legs when hopping through some nettles and brambles.
More complex and physical terrain made for some tricky but fun courses. But all worth when socialising afterwards sharing our experiences over a hotdog and a cuppa.
👍Thank you to the August Coordinator Dan Earnshaw and Chris Colwell with helping with access permissions all our August planners and volunteers, Alan Gartside for map printing and Geoffrey Collins who set up and worked in the background on the handicap system. Special thanks this weeks planner, James Earnshaw, to Heather and Gavin Cairns for feeding us with hotdogs afterwards,
🏆The handicap system, really puts all ages in the mix, creating some fun competition. After the run on Wednesday the WEE results for both the June and August Series’ were announced and here are the podium finishers. (Note, to allow more participants to be rewarded, the June winners are not eligible to win prizes again in August)

Apologies if in the confusion of the night I mixed some of this up – if you were a prize winner and didn’t receive a prize, send me a message and I’ll try and arrange something to give you at an up and coming event.

Let’s face it, the weather over the past couple of months hasn’t exactly been beach weather, so lets extend that summer out and get down to the seaside! Into on NWOC website .
