🌈 Seven excellent colour courses are now all planned and Lagan Valley Orienteers are ready to welcome you to the 4th NI Colour event of the year at Kilbroney on Saturday 30 October – see LVO fixtures for more information.
🚗 Parking will up up at the highest car park.
🌲 Yellow and Orange starts and courses are situated in the Cloughmore area of the forest and will use a 1:5000 scale map.
🌄 Other courses will start at the top of the forest zig-zags (allow 20-25mins walk) and have controls on the open hill using a 1:10000 map – good navigational skills using a compass are expected and will be needed if misty up on top.
🏁 All courses share the same finish back near the upper most car park.
⛅💧 Make sure you check the weather before you arrive as whistles and waterproof coats may be mandatory.
