Juniors from LVO had a great time at the JK2015 in the Lake District in Cumbria over the Easter Weekend. This was a mix of urban racing around Lancaster University on the Fri evening and technical longer races over a mixed terrain of hills, open moor and forested areas on the Sat and Sun. The relay race took part on the Mon. It was a demanding few days but the weather was great over the weekend and all juniors really enjoyed themselves and did very well given the difficulty of the courses. A big congrats goes to Luke C for winning the M12B on day 2 – fantastic result.
We also had a good turn out at the Leinster Champs in the Wicklows. This was once more technically challenging with a mix of forest area and open mountain side. Again our juniors did very well with wins for James M and Rachel C and second place for Paul P and Andrew E. Not to be outdone the adults put up a good showing, proving they were not just good for driving and packing the lunch, with a win for Alan E, Collin H and Ivan M and second place for Steph P, Bill H, Mandy M and Ann S.
