The popular WEE series returns in 2018 to the competitive format of Long and Short courses with handicapped results and league tables. The first of which will be in Ormeau Park. Monthly prizes for league winners and runners up.
As well as a midweek leg stretch and bit of craic we like to use the WEEs to introduce, train and bring on new organisers and planners.
- These events will not take place if we do not get the event officials in place.
- If you have never organised before then do not worry as each month has a co-ordinator that will help and guide you in the organising duties.
- If you fancy trying your hand at planning we will double you up with an experienced person where required.
Plus there are also plenty of other opportunities to get involved with the likes of new participant welcoming, starts, or you could even try your hand at the evil computers! They really don’t bite … honestly.
To tempt you into putting your hand up the name of each volunteer for each month’s worth of WEEs will be put into a hat with one being drawn to win that month’s volunteer prize.
