I have information from Mike Long (IOA Director of Junior Representative Orienteering) that the first mandatory selection event for the Irish Junior Team is a time trial in Phoenix Park on Saturday 11th March 2017. You can register your participation here (you do not need to be an existing Irish Squad member). You may get a flavour of the JHI selection criteria from those used in 2014 which are here.
