 rk\n\n\nEvent Format\nWednesday Evening Night Training is a mid-weekly inf
 ormal and fun session during the colder\, darker months of November and De
 cember.\n\nThey are open to both club members and those new to orienteerin
 g.\n\nCoach advice/support available. Juniors welcome but would advise you
 nger juniors are accompanied by an adult.\n\n\nEntry/Registration\nClick o

  14 December\n\nFor all WENTs\, entries close at midnight on the Monday be
 fore the event to allow for printing.\n\n\nStart Times\nBe warmed up and r
 eady to start at 7.30pm. Finish about 8.30pm.\n\n\nPrice\n💰 WENTs are f
 ree for members of LVO\, NIOA and Orienteering Ireland. Non-members are al
 so welcome to attend any of our activities and events but there is a £5 f
 ee for this activity.\n\n\nTerrain Summary\nParkland - grass\, forest and

 be courses/activities available to practice night navigation for novice na
 vigators and more experienced orienteers.\n\nWe want to ensure our events 
 are as fun and safe as possible for all participants. Although injury and 
 ‘stranger danger’ incidents are rare we must keep vigilant and it is i
 mportant to remind you of how you can help prevent incidents and keep safe
 . Please follow the instructions given at the briefing and follow the fol
 lowing advice:\n\n 	U16s to be accompanied by an adult for the duration of
  the activity\n 	Return to download and register your return after 45 minu
 tes\, even if you have not completed your course.\n 	There will be first a
 id available at the Start/finish.\n 	Traffic – be particularly careful c
 rossing access roads and around the car parks. There are also bike trails 
 - give way to all traffic and other users.\n 	Please avoid shining your to
 rch directly at cars and pedestrians.\n 	Terrain - the ground is slippery 
 with steep slopes\, so wear trainers with good grip and bring spare clothi
 ng to change into afterwards if needs be.\n 	Stranger danger - If in the u
 nlikely event that you are approached by a stranger with ill intent\, call
  out and blast your whistle. Please report all incidents and concerns to t
 he organiser.\n 	Safeguarding - it is everyone's responsibility to ensure 
 participants are and feel safe. If you have a concern regarding inappropri

 nKit requirements\n\n\n 	Whistles are mandatory – use in case of emergen
 cy – 6 short loud blasts every minute until help arrives. There is a dut
 y of care on all participants to stop and help and get further help. You m
 ay also wish to carry a mobile phone.\n 	Carry all necessary personal medi
 cation where appropriate (inhaler\, EpiPen).\n 	Ensure your head torch has
  good battery power - let us know beforehand if you need to borrow one.\n
  	Dibber – these can also be borrowed.\n 	Wear bright/hi-viz clothing 
 – this helps you be seen by other participants\, park users and a deterr
 ent to anyone who may wish to cause harm.\n 	Please come appropriately dre
 ssed for the conditions.\n 	If the forecast is cold/wet a waterproof jacke
 t is mandatory. If cold\, layer up and consider a hat\, gloves and buff.\n
