  Gardens (tbc)\n\n\nEvent Format\nWednesday Evening Night Training is a mi
 d-weekly informal and fun session during the colder\, darker months of Nov
 ember and December.\n\nThey are open to both club members and those new to
  orienteering.\n\nCoach advice/support available. Juniors welcome but woul
 d advise younger juniors are accompanied by an adult.\n\n\nEntry/Registrat

 night Monday 9 November\n\nFor all WENTs\, entries close at midnight on th
 e Monday before the event to allow for printing.\n\n\nStart Times\nBe warm
 ed up and ready to start at 7.30pm. Finish about 8.30pm.\n\n\nPrice\n💰 
 WENTs are free for members of LVO\, NIOA and Orienteering Ireland. Non-mem
 bers are also welcome to attend any of our activities and events but there
  is a £5 fee for this activity.\n\n\nTerrain Summary\nParkland - grass\,

 There will be courses/activities available to practice night navigation fo
 r novice navigators and more experienced orienteers.\n\nWe want to ensure 
 our events are as fun and safe as possible for all participants. Although 
 injury and ‘stranger danger’ incidents are rare we must keep vigilant 
 and it is important to remind you of how you can help prevent incidents an
 d keep safe. Please follow the instructions given at the briefing and foll
 ow the following advice:\n\n 	U16s to be accompanied by an adult for the 
 duration of the activity\n 	Return to download and register your return af
 ter 45 minutes\, even if you have not completed your course.\n 	There will
  be first aid available at the Start/finish.\n 	Traffic – be particularl
 y careful crossing access roads and around the car parks. There are also b
 ike trails - give way to all traffic and other users.\n 	Please avoid shin
 ing your torch directly at cars and pedestrians.\n 	Terrain - the ground i
 s slippery with steep slopes\, so wear trainers with good grip and bring s
 pare clothing to change into afterwards if needs be.\n 	Stranger danger - 
 If in the unlikely event that you are approached by a stranger with ill in
 tent\, call out and blast your whistle. Please report all incidents and co
 ncerns to the organiser.\n 	Safeguarding - it is everyone's responsibility
  to ensure participants are and feel safe. If you have a concern regarding

 m.\n\n\n\n\nKit requirements\n\n\n 	Whistles are mandatory – use in case
  of emergency – 6 short loud blasts every minute until help arrives. The
 re is a duty of care on all participants to stop and help and get further 
 help. You may also wish to carry a mobile phone.\n 	Carry all necessary pe
 rsonal medication where appropriate (inhaler\, EpiPen).\n 	Ensure your hea
 d torch has good battery power - let us know beforehand if you need to bo
 rrow one.\n 	Dibber – these can also be borrowed.\n 	Wear bright/hi-viz 
 clothing – this helps you be seen by other participants\, park users and
  a deterrent to anyone who may wish to cause harm.\n 	Please come appropri
 ately dressed for the conditions.\n 	If the forecast is cold/wet a waterpr
 oof jacket is mandatory. If cold\, layer up and consider a hat\, gloves an
