WEE are back!
After a break in July the first WEE in August will be held at Botanic Gardens/Queens.
Junior and first time Planner, Anastasia Mahlych, with help from Junior Coach Steph Pruzina, will have a couple of great courses to welcome us back.
Welcome: As well as club members, we welcome everyone including newcomers. There will be someone available at registration to help newcomers with any questions or queries.
Terrain: The terrain is very flat, so basically no climb and a mix of grass and hard surface.
Parking: is at the QUB PEC car park on Stranmillis Embankment (not the Clay Library).
Provisional course details:
Short ~ 2.5km
Long ~ 4.5km

Entry: is online using SiEntries. The first time you enter online you need to register with SiEntries (enter an email and a password) after which they will send you a link to log in and should be straightforward.

Entry on Day (EOD) is possible but members will be charged non-members fee. So to ensure a map is reserved and save £2, enter online before midnight of Sunday before the event.
Safety: Please be aware of, and be courteous to, other park users. Both the Short and the Long course may cross or run along service roads and footpaths. Courses will close at 8.30pm and the controls will be lifted after that time and you will be searching for something that isn’t there any more! So, if you are still out on the course at that time please report to download so that we know you aren’t missing.
Do not attend if you have Covid or are displaying Covid symptoms and at the event keep good control measures such as hand hygiene and social distancing.
