DESCRIPTION:Barnett Demesne must be one of Lagan Valley’s best known orie
 nteering  areas. Lots of open ground for sports facilities\, this park fe
 atures the famous Mary Peters Track \, Queens University playing fields\, 
 a parkrun course\, mountain bike trails and cycle tracks and the towpath a
 ttracts lots of walkers and dogwalkers.\n\nParking at Malone House will be
  most convenient for Starts. However if this carpark is full and the space
 s along the exit road have all been filled\, it is possible to use the car
 park at the top of Dub Lane. Enter via Queens Playing Fields site 1st left
  off Upper Malone Road after Malone roundabout then continue past pavilion
  to Dub carpark. Walk up rest of Dub Lane to Barnett’s and continue sout
 h towards Malone House.\n\nCourses have been planned to avoid the cycle tr
 acks. But if your route choice includes a cycle track\, please be prepared
  to move out of the way quickly if a cyclist comes along. Obey No Entry fo
