Event Description
The next WEE is at Sir Thomas & Lady Dixon Park, planned by Denis Murphy with some technical assistance from Ric Gamble. After the complexities of Hillsborough Forest the terrain is much more open, but be warned – a lot of those flowerbeds and pergolas start to look very similar when the oxygen level in the brain begins to fall.
Starts, Finish and Registration for those needing to hire a dibber will be in the Upper Car Park.
The courses will close at 8:30 pm sharp, so if you are still out there at that time please report to the finish and download so that we know you aren’t missing. The controls will be lifted after that time and you will be searching for something that isn’t there any more!
At Hillsborough last week several newcomers had many happy hours of harmless fun trying to do online entry-on-the-day. Thank you for your good humour and patience. The first time you enter online (by clicking on the button below) you need to register with SiEntries (enter an email and a password) after which they will send you a link to log in. After that it should be straightforward, even on a phone. For the technophobes, throwing £4 per Junior or £8 per Adult at somebody looking harassed will also secure an entry, but you will have to fill in a complicated registration form, so that we know who to inform if you’re missing.
Members should note that they will have a map reserved and save £2 by entering online before Monday midnight.
