You get the same quality cou rses and a print out of your time and splits but without online results an d a league table.\n\nThese activities are a great introduction if you are new to the sport\, or a valuable training opportunity if you are already a dab hand. For those who thrive on competition we also have something for you\, with the WEE series league table.\n\nEach evening there will be two courses\, Short and Long.\n\nThe Short Course is approximately 2km in leng th and has relatively simple navigation. This is really well suited to chi ldren and family groups who are out for an explore. It is also popular wit h seasoned orienteers who do not want too physical a run.\n\nThe Long Cour se is approximately 4km in length and is the navigation is more challengin g. Registration is also a safe place for ch ildren to wait.\n\nPlease do not come to the event if you are unwell.\n\nP lease bring and carry any medication you might need\, especially inhalers and EpiPen’s.\n\nIf you come across an injured or ill person\, please st op\, help and get further help. There will likely be qualified first aider s on the course who can stop to provide support.\n\nAll participants must return to download\, whether they complete the course or not. This is to a ccount for all competitors\, ensuring everyone’s safe return.\n\nCourses will close and controls collected in at 8.30pm sharp.
