You get the same quality cou rses and a print out of your time and splits but without online results an d a league table.\n\nThese activities are a great introduction if you are new to the sport\, or a valuable training opportunity if you are already a dab hand. For those who thrive on competition we also have something for you\, with the WEE series league table.\n\nEach evening there will be two courses\, Short and Long.\n\nThe Short Course is approximately 2km in leng th and has relatively simple navigation. This is really well suited to chi ldren and family groups who are out for an explore. It is also popular wit h seasoned orienteers who do not want too physical a run.\n\nThe Long Cour se is approximately 4km in length and is the navigation is more challengin g. Registration will be near the car park. Come here if you need to borrow a ny equipment e.g. a dibber (electronic timing device).\n\nStarts: 6.30pm - 7.30pm. Start will be a short walk from registration. If you have registe red online and do not need any equipment\, please go directly to the start lane.\n\nCourse Closed: 8.30pm. Registration is also a safe place for children to wait.\n\nPlease do not come to the e vent if you are unwell.\n\nPlease bring and carry any medication you might need\, especially inhalers and EpiPen’s.\n\nIf you come across an injur ed or ill person\, please stop\, help and get further help. There will lik ely be qualified first aiders on the course who can stop to provide suppor t.\n\nAll participants must return to download\, whether they complete the course or not. This is to account for all competitors\, ensuring everyone ’s safe return.\n\nCourses will close and controls collected in at 8.30p m sharp.
