You get the same qua lity courses and a print out of your time and splits but without online re sults and a league table.\n\nThese activities are a great introduction if you are new to the sport\, or a valuable training opportunity if you are a lready a dab hand. For those who thrive on competition we also have someth ing for you\, with the WEE series league table.\n\nEach evening there will be two courses\, Short and Long.\n\nThe Short Course is approximately 2km in length and has relatively simple navigation. This is really well suite d to children and family groups who are out for an explore. It is also pop ular with seasoned orienteers who do not want too physical a run.\n\nThe L ong Course is approximately 4km in length and is the navigation is more ch allenging. Registration is also a safe pla ce for children to wait.\n\nPlease do not come to the event if you are unw ell.\n\nPlease bring and carry any medication you might need\, especially inhalers and EpiPen’s.\n\nIf you come across an injured or ill person\, please stop\, help and get further help. There will likely be qualified fi rst aiders on the course who can stop to provide support.\n\nAll participa nts must return to download\, whether they complete the course or not. Thi s is to account for all competitors\, ensuring everyone’s safe return.\n \nCourses will close and controls collected in at 8.30pm sharp.
