For those who thrive on competition we also have something for you\, with the WEE series league table.\n\nEach evening ther e will be two courses\, Short and Long.\n\nThe Short Course is approximate ly 2km in length and has relatively simple navigation. This is really well suited to children and family groups who are out for an explore. It is al so popular with seasoned orienteers who do not want too physical a run.\n\ nThe Long Course is approximately 4km in length and is the navigation is m ore challenging. It is best suited for runners looking for more adventure and best suited to adults or juniors with navigational experience..\n\n\nO nline Entry\n.\n\n\nSI Entries\n \n\n\nOnline Entry closes\n7pm\, Tuesday 23 June 2026\n\nLimited Entry on the Day is available at non-member rates\ , depending on map availability. See here for Terms.\n\n\nRegistration\, Start and Finish\nRegistration: 6.15pm - 7.15pm. Registration will in the visitors car park to the East of the main Stormont building. Come here if you need to borrow any equipment e.g. a dibber (electronic timing device). \n\nStarts: 6.30pm - 7.30pm. Start will be a short walk from registration. If you have registered online and do not need any equipment\, please go d irectly to the start lane.\n\nCourse Closed: 8.30pm. If they like the event and want to come back for more\, they can join our club and pay membership rates\, or pay as a non-member n ext time.\n\nPlease note: Participants who are not members of British Orie nteering or of another orienteering federation are not covered by British Orienteering’s public liability insurance. You are welcome to enter this event\, but please understand that you are taking part at your own risk. For example\, if you were to accidentally injure a member of the public or damage property during the event\, you would not be covered. Registration is also a safe place for children to wait.\ n\nPlease do not come to the event if you are unwell.\n\nPlease bring and carry any medication you might need\, especially inhalers and EpiPen’s.\ n\nIf you come across an injured or ill person\, please stop\, help and ge t further help. There will likely be qualified first aiders on the course who can stop to provide support.\n\nAll participants must return to downlo ad\, whether they complete the course or not. This is to account for all c ompetitors\, ensuring everyone’s safe return.\n\nCourses will close and controls collected in at 8.30pm sharp. If you are still out on the course at this time return to finish and download immediately.\n\n\nKit requireme nts\nFull leg cover is recommended to protect against summer growth of bri ers and nettles.\n\nA waterproof jacket may also be mandatory if the organ isers decide the weather requires one\, so bring one along just in case.\n \nDogs are permitted in the carpark and on the course\, however common sen se control of dogs applies.\n\n\nParking\nEnter the grounds via Massey Ave nue and follow signage to the Visitors car park\, past the main Parliament Building and on the left.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNeed a ride to the event?
