For those who thrive on competition we also have something for you\, with the WEE series league table.\n\nCoac hing available – if you are new\, don’t worry\, there will be experien ced coaches/officials at registration to welcome newcomers\, explain the a ctivity and give some coaching tips. If you feel you or your child would l ike more support than this\, there may be some coaches available to ‘sha dow’ you round the course. See here for Terms.\n\n\nCourses\nEach evenin g there will be two courses\, Short and Long.\n\nThe Short Course is appro ximately 2km in length and has relatively simple navigation. This is reall y well suited to children and family groups who are out for an explore. It is also popular with seasoned orienteers who do not want too physical a r un.\n\nThe Long Course is approximately 4km in length and is the navigatio n is more challenging. If you come across an injured or ill person\, please stop\, help and get further help. There will likely be qualified first aiders on the course who can stop to provide support. Please do not come to the even t if you are unwell. Please bring and carry any medication you might need\ , especially inhalers and EpiPen’s.\n\nPlease take a note of the course closure time. If you are still out on the course at this time return to fi nish and download immediately. All participants must return to download\, whether they complete the course or not.
