DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nFixture Format\nThe Wednesday Evening Event (WEE) Series 
 consists of nine races throughout May and June.\n\nThe WEE series is a gre
 at introduction if you are new to the sport\, or a valuable training oppor
 tunity if you are already a dab hand. For those who thrive on competition 
 we also have something for you\, with the WEE series league table.\n\nCoac
 hing available – if you are new\, don’t worry\, there will be experien
 ced coaches/officials at registration to welcome newcomers\, explain the a
 ctivity and give some coaching tips. If you feel you or your child would l
 ike more support than this\, there may be some coaches available to ‘sha

 nThis event is Online entry only – this is because Belfast parks prohibi
 t cash transactions on site. See here for Terms.\n\n\nCourses\nEach evenin
 g there will be two courses\, Short and Long.\n\nThe Short Course is appro
 ximately 2km in length and has relatively simple navigation. This is reall
 y well suited to children and family groups who are out for an explore. It
  is also popular with seasoned orienteers who do not want too physical a r
 un.\n\nThe Long Course is approximately 4km in length and is the navigatio
 n is more challenging. It is best suited for runners looking for more adve
 nture and best suited to adults or juniors with navigational experience.\n

 Summary\nParkland.\n\n\nFirst Aid and Safety\nThe river is very deep and c
 an only be crossed by bridges.\n\nWatch out for other park users.\n\nThere
  will be first aid and a qualified first aider available at registration. 
 If you come across an injured or ill person\, please stop\, help and get f
 urther help. There will likely be qualified first aiders on the course who
  can stop to provide support. Please do not come to the event if you are u
 nwell. Please bring and carry any medication you might need\, especially i
 nhalers and EpiPen’s.\n\nPlease take a note of the course closure time. 
 If you are still out on the course at this time return to finish and downl
 oad immediately. All participants must return to download\, whether they c
 omplete the course or not. This is to account for all competitors\, ensuri
 ng everyone’s safe return.\n\nRegistration is a safe place for lost chil
 dren to wait.\n\n\nKit requirements\n\n\n 	Full leg cover is recommended t
 o protect against summer growth of briers and nettles.\n 	A waterproof jac
 ket may also be mandatory if the organisers decide the weather requires on
 e\, so bring one along just in case.\n 	Dogs are permitted in the carpark 
 and on the course\, however common sense control of dogs applies.\n\n\n\n\
 nParking\nRegistration will be at Queen’s University PEC car park\, Stra
 nmillis embankment. Here parking is £1.80 per hour. For more info visit:
