For those who thrive on competition we also have something for you\, with the WEE series league table.\n\nEach evening there will be two courses\, Short and Long.\n\nThe Short Course is approx imately 2km in length and has relatively simple navigation. This is really well suited to children and family groups who are out for an explore. It is also popular with seasoned orienteers who do not want too physical a ru n.\n\nThe Long Course is approximately 4km in length and is the navigation is more challenging. It is best suited for runners looking for more adven ture and best suited to adults or juniors with navigational experience.\n\ n\nOnline Entry\n.\n\n\nSI Entries\n \n\n\nOnline Entry closes\n7pm\, Tues day 19 May 2026\n\nLimited Entry on the Day is available at non-member rat es\, depending on map availability. Come here if you nee d to borrow any equipment e.g. a dibber (electronic timing device).\n\nSta rts: 6.30pm - 7.30pm. Start will be a short walk from registration. Children should be accompanied by an a dult.\n\nWatch out for other park users.\n\nThere will be a first aid and a qualified first aider available at registration. Registration is also a safe place for lost children to wait.\n\nPlease do not come to the event i f you are unwell.\n\nPlease bring and carry any medication you might need\ , especially inhalers and EpiPen’s.\n\nIf you come across an injured or ill person\, please stop\, help and get further help. There will likely be qualified first aiders on the course who can stop to provide support.\n\n All participants must return to download\, whether they complete the cours e or not. This is to account for all competitors\, ensuring everyone’s s afe return.\n\nCourses will close and controls collected in at 8.30pm shar p. If you are still out on the course at this time return to finish and do wnload immediately.\n\n\nKit requirements\nFull leg cover is recommended t o protect against summer growth of briers and nettles.\n\nA waterproof jac ket may also be mandatory if the organisers decide the weather requires on e\, so bring one along just in case.\n\nDogs are permitted in the carpark and on the course\, however common sense control of dogs applies.\n\n\nPar king\nCastle Mall Car Park. Use this car park\, cross the main road using the pedestrian crossing (with lights) and follow red/white tape to registr ation/start at carpark beside Clotworthy House.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNeed a ride to the event?
