SUMMARY:WEE 14  - Councillor Thomas Patton Memorial Park
DESCRIPTION:\n 	The Grand Finale of the 2017 WEE Series takes place this We
 dnesday at a new East Belfast venue for LVO. There will be courses\, races
 \, results\, prizes and\, we hope\, hotdogs for all.\n\nThe new venue is t
 he Councillor Thomas Patton Memorial Park\, with the usual offering of lon
 g and short courses. In addition there will be a special course for the un
 der 16s who would normally run the long course. As the long course will ve
 nture into the adjacent Inverary estate\, with a mix of park and urban ori
 enteering\, it will have to be restricted to the over 16s.\n\nAs this is t
 he finale\, results will be published and prizes awarded to the leaders (o
 n handicap) of each course. There will also be awards for all those who ha
 ve attended 9 or more of the WEEs this year. The evening is for everyone\,
  so come along and enjoy the last of the park based WEEs. You don’t have
  to be a club member – or even an orienteer – to be able to enjoy the 
 evening. Just turn up and have fun.\n\nCourse lengths are 3.6km (long)\, 2
 .6km (under 16s) and 1.8Km (short). Leg cover is recommended. Registration
  will be open from 6.00pm. We hope to start the hotdogs at about 7.30pm so
  you are encouraged to come a bit early\, run\, and stay on to enjoy the s
 ocial.\n
