For those who thrive on competition we also have someth ing for you\, with the WEE series league table.\n\nEach evening there will be two courses\, Short and Long.\n\nThe Short Course is approximately 2km in length and has relatively simple navigation. This is really well suite d to children and family groups who are out for an explore. It is also pop ular with seasoned orienteers who do not want too physical a run.\n\nThe L ong Course is approximately 4km in length and is the navigation is more ch allenging. It is best suited for runners looking for more adventure and be st suited to adults or juniors with navigational experience.\n\n\nOnline E ntry\n.\n\n\nSI Entries\n \n\n\nOnline Entry closes\n7pm\, Tuesday 5 May 2 026\n\nThis event is Online entry only - this is because Belfast parks pro hibit cash transactions on site. See here for Terms.\n\n\nRegistration\, S tart and Finish\nRegistration: 6.15pm - 7.15pm. Registration will be at th e north end of the car park opposite the entrance to the Ozone. Come here if you need to borrow any equipment e.g. a dibber (electronic timing devic e).\n\nStarts: 6.30pm - 7.30pm. Start will be a short walk on the path bet ween the all weather pitch and the new dog exercise park. If you have regi stered online and do not need any equipment\, please go directly to the st art lane.\n\nCourse Closed: 8.30pm. If they like the event and want to come back for more\, they can join our club and pay membership rates\, or pay as a non-member next time.\n\nPlea se note: Participants who are not members of British Orienteering or of an other orienteering federation are not covered by British Orienteering’s public liability insurance. You are welcome to enter this event\, but plea se understand that you are taking part at your own risk. For example\, if you were to accidentally injure a member of the public or damage property during the event\, you would not be covered. Regi stration is also a safe place for children to wait.\n\nPlease do not come to the event if you are unwell.\n\nPlease bring and carry any medication y ou might need\, especially inhalers and EpiPen’s.\n\nIf you come across an injured or ill person\, please stop\, help and get further help. There will likely be qualified first aiders on the course who can stop to provid e support.\n\nAll participants must return to download\, whether they comp lete the course or not. This is to account for all competitors\, ensuring everyone’s safe return.\n\nCourses will close and controls collected in at 8.30pm sharp.
