 ickfergus has been chosen to host the first UK Urban League event to come 
 to Northern Ireland - so you don't miss out on this great opportunity.\n\n
 The historic seaside town of Carrickfergus\, with its Norman castle\, is f
 ound at the southern end of the beautiful Causeway Coastal Road.\n\nWe are
  really looking forward to having you visit us and orienteer in Carrickfer
 gus. Over 200 are entered and taking part across the 7 courses that we hav
 e planned.\n\nEntries and Categories:\n\nOnline entries will be on SiEntri
 es.\n\nMale and Female competitors will be able to enter in one of the fol
 lowing categories:\n\n 	Young Juniors 12-\n 	Juniors 16-\n 	Open\n 	Vet 40
 +\n 	SuperVet 55+\n 	UltraVet 65+\n 	Hyper Vet 75+\n\nCourses\n\nThere wil
 l be seven courses Courses with Categories mapped as below.\n\n\n\nClasses
 \nCourse\n\n\nMO\n1\n\n\nWO  MV\n2\n\n\nWV  MSV\n3\n\n\nWSV  MUV\n4\n\n
 \nWUV  WHV  MHV\n5\n\n\nMJ  WJ\n6\n\n\nMYJ  WYJ\n7\n\n\n\nN.B. Juniors
  (16 yrs old and under) cannot run on the Senior courses due to safety con
 straints.\n\nConsidering this event will be part of a very busy 10 days of
  orienteering with the British Championships taking place in the following
  few days\, this event will be a short urban with provisional estimated wi
 nning time\, 30 minutes.\n\nRegistration/Event Centre\n\nRegistration/Even
 t Centre - (Covered outside area at back of) Ownies Bar &amp\; Bistro. 16-
 18 Joymount\, Carrickfergus\, BT38 7DN. The start is very close by.\n\nTra
 vel\n\nCar - Travelling from Belfast along the A2\, Marine Highway. After 
 passing the Castle\, there are a number of carparks on your left\, all are
  a short walk to registration/event centre\, see below. Car park 1 is free
 \, car parks 2 and 3 are free after 6pm. There is limited free roadside pa
 rking and other nearby public parking if needed. Ownies Bar (event centre)
  is situated between Car Park 1 and 2/3\, only a 2/3 min walk. Click here

  regular bus and train services from to Carrickfergus from Belfast and Lar
 ne. From Belfast buses take 30-40 minutes and trains 20-30 minutes.\n\nSaf
 ety\n\nThe urban nature of the event means that traffic is an additional r
 isk to taking part. As a result\, several car parks and the main A2 - four
  lane road has been marked as “out of bounds”.\n\nThere are also sever
 al marshals wearing high vis on the course to assist in some road crossing
 s\, always remembering the ultimate responsibility is your own. In additio
 n…….\n\nCourses 1\, 2 and 3 - There is an underpass and 2 mandatory cr
 ossing points (one of which has a 2min time out)\n\nCourses 4 and 5 - Ther
 e is an underpass which must be used.\n\nDownload and refreshments\n\nDown
 load is back at registration where you will also get results. The bar/bist
 ro is open for food and drinks if you’d like to stay and hang around aft
