Routegadget map and courses can be found here: https://www.lvo.routegadget.co.uk/rg2/?#471\n\n\nCourse Notes\ n\n\n Short – km + m climb TBC – Suitable for unaccompanied juniors u nder the age of 16.\n Medium – km + m climb TBC\n Long – km + m clim b TBC\n\nThis event is part of the Northern Ireland Urban League and also part of the UK Urban League. For the Northern Ireland Urban League\, compe titors may enter any course they wish (with under 16s restricted to the Sh ort course). The scoring system for the league takes account of age class and gender and is explained here.\n\nHowever the UK Urban League is an age class competition\, explained here. If competitors wish to be awarded poi nts in the UK Urban League then the following courses should be entered:\n \n Short –    M/W Young Juniors 12-\,   M/W Juniors 16-\,   W Hyp erVet 75+.\n Medium – W SuperVet 55+\,   M/W UltraVet 65+\,   M Hyp erVet 75+\n Long –    M/W Open\,   M/W Vet 40+\,   M SuperVet 55+ \n\n\n\n\nFirst Aid and Safety\nTake care on all roads\, use footpaths whe n possible. The short course is suitable for Juniors as it does not involv e road crossings or areas where there is likely to concerns over vehicle t raffic. Due to the nature of the longer courses\, juniors aged under 16 on the day are restricted to the Short course unless accompanied by an adult .\n\nThere will be a first aid and a qualified first aider available at re gistration. Registration is also a safe place for lost children to wait.\n \nPlease do not come to the event if you are unwell. Please bring and carr y any medication you might need\, especially inhalers and EpiPen’s.\n\nI f you come across an injured or ill person\, please stop\, help and get fu rther help. There will likely be qualified first aiders on the course who can stop to provide support.\n\nAll participants must return to download\, whether they complete the course or not. This is to account for all compe titors\, ensuring everyone’s safe return.\n\nCourses will close and cont rols collected in at 8pm sharp. If you are still out on the course at this time return to finish and download immediately.\n\n\nKit requirements\nSh orts and running vests are permitted for this race. Shoes with spikes and metal dobs are not allowed. It can be muddy in places and therefore shoes with some grip would be appropriate.\n\n\nParking\nParking is TBA but like ly in the public car park on Dundrum Road/Main Street near the north end o f the village. Coming from Belfast\, it is on the left hand side immediate ly after the GAA car park and opposite Sacred Heart Church\, BT33 0SA.
