  LVO Club Champs event on Slieve Croob on Saturday\n 	Camping at Tollymore
  on Friday and Saturday nights\n 	A BBQ after Saturday's race\n 	A fun FRE
 E two-person relay on Sunday.\n\nGiven the full weekend of activities\, th
 e Dundrum race is not full-length urban. For full details see the Festival

 idnight\, Sunday 14 June 2026\n\n\nRegistration\, Start and Finish\nStart 
 times 18:30 to 20:00. The start is tagged from the car park at the north e
 nd of Dundrum at 900m distance. Registration is at St Donards Community (C
 hurch of Ireland). This is 700m from the car park and then a further 400m 
 to the start. There is no need to go to the start for pre-registered runne
 rs except for dropping car keys or requiring to hire a SI Card (dibber).\n

 . Parents accompanying children go free.\n\nPlease note: Participants who 
 are not members of British Orienteering or of another orienteering federat
 ion are not covered by British Orienteering’s public liability insurance
 . You are welcome to enter this event\, but please understand that you are
  taking part at your own risk. For example\, if you were to accidentally i
 njure a member of the public or damage property during the event\, you wou
 ld not be covered. Members of Orienteering Ireland are covered by British 
 Orienteering insurance. \n\n\nTerrain Summary\nDundrum village has areas 
 of parkland\, housing\, alleyways all overlooked by a historic castle on a
  hill.\n\n\nPrevious Maps/Routegadget\nThis area was last used for an urba

 2.7km + 90m climb 14 controls – Suitable for unaccompanied juniors under
  the age of 16.\n 	Medium – 4.2km + 140m climb 16 controls\n 	Long – 5
 .6km + 230m climb 21 controls. The long course has a map flip.\n\nThis eve
 nt is part of the Northern Ireland Urban League and also part of the UK Ur
 ban League. For the Northern Ireland Urban League\, competitors may enter 
 any course they wish (with under 16s restricted to the Short course). The 
 scoring system for the league takes account of age class and gender and is
  explained here.\n\nHowever the UK Urban League is an age class competitio
 n\, explained here. If competitors wish to be awarded points in the UK Urb
 an League then the following courses should be entered:\n\n 	Short –  
   M/W Young Juniors 12-\,   M/W Juniors 16-\,   W HyperVet 75+.\n 	Me
 dium – W SuperVet 55+\,   M/W UltraVet 65+\,   M HyperVet 75+\n 	Lon
 g –    M/W Open\,   M/W Vet 40+\,   M SuperVet 55+\n\n\n\n\nFirst 
 Aid and Safety\nTake care on all roads\, use footpaths when possible. The 
 short course is suitable for Juniors as it does not involve road crossings
  or areas where there is likely to concerns over vehicle traffic. Due to t
 he nature of the longer courses\, juniors aged under 16 on the day are res
 tricted to the Short course unless accompanied by an adult.\n\nThere will 
 be a first aid and a qualified first aider available at registration. Regi
 stration is also a safe place for lost children to wait.\n\nPlease do not 
 come to the event if you are unwell. Please bring and carry any medication
  you might need\, especially inhalers and EpiPen’s.\n\nIf you come acros
 s an injured or ill person\, please stop\, help and get further help. Ther
 e will likely be qualified first aiders on the course who can stop to prov
 ide support.\n\nAll participants must return to download\, whether they co
 mplete the course or not. This is to account for all competitors\, ensurin
 g everyone’s safe return.\n\nCourses will close and controls collected i
 n at 21:00 sharp. If you are still out on the course at this time return t
 o finish and download immediately.\n\n\nKit requirements\nShorts and runni
 ng vests are permitted for this race. Shoes with spikes and metal dobs are
  not allowed. It can be muddy in places and therefore shoes with some grip
  would be appropriate.\n\n\nParking\nParking is in the public car park on 
 Dundrum Road/Main Street near the north end of the village. Coming from Be
 lfast\, it is on the left hand side immediately after the GAA car park and
  opposite Sacred Heart Church\, BT33 0SA. There are no parking fees. Alter
 natively park in a layby on Main Street. From the carpark follow the route
  to the start along the seaward side of Main Street\, past the Brennans Sp
 ar and cross the road at the pelican crossing. Then follow the tagged rout
 e. Distance from carpark to start approx 900m. Distance from carpark to fi
 nish/registration approx 700m. Distrance from registration to start approx
  400m. Pre-entered competitors may go directly to the start.\n\n\nToilets\
 nThere are toilets at Dundrum Inner Bay carpark which is approx 1.8km sout
 h of Dundrum on the Newcastle Road A2.\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;
