  Tollymore Festival of Orienteering which includes the Dundrum Urban race 
 on Friday\; the NICS event on Slieve Croob on Saturday\; camping at Tollym
 ore and a BBQ after Saturday's race\, and fun activities on Sunday. Given 
 the full weekend of activities\, the Dundrum race is not full-length urban

  you are entering a family of individual runners and it comes to more than

  arrange refund of the difference. Parents accompanying children go free.\
 n\nPlease note: Participants who are not members of British Orienteering o
 r of another orienteering federation are not covered by British Orienteeri
 ng’s public liability insurance. You are welcome to enter this event\, b
 ut please understand that you are taking part at your own risk. For exampl
 e\, if you were to accidentally injure a member of the public or damage pr
 operty during the event\, you would not be covered. Members of Orienteerin
 g Ireland are covered by British Orienteering insurance. \n\n\nTerrain Su
 mmary\nDundrum village has areas of parkland\, housing\, alleyways all ove

 n\nCourse Notes\nShort – km + m climb TBC – The short course is the on
 ly course suitable for unaccompanied juniors under the age of 16.\nMedium 
 – km + m climb TBC –\nLong – km + m climb TBC –This event is part 
 of the Northern Ireland Urban League but also part of the UK Urban League.
 For the Northern Ireland Urban League\, competitors may enter any course t
 hey wish (with under 16s restricted to the short course). The scoring syst
 em for the leage takes account of age class and gender and is explained he
 re.However the UK Urban League is an age class competition\, explained her
 e. If competitors wish to be awareded points in the UK Urban League then t
 he following courses should be entered:\n\nShort – M/W Young Juniors 12-
 \, M/W Juniors 16-\, W HyperVet 75+.\nMedium – W SuperVet 55+\, M/W Ultr
 aVet 65+\, M HyperVet 75+\nLong – M/W Open\, M/W Vet 40+\, M SuperVet 55
 +\n\n\nFirst Aid and Safety\nTake care on all roads\, use footpaths when p
 ossible. The short course is suitable for Juniors as it does not involve r
 oad crossings or areas where there is likely to concerns over vehicle traf
 fic. Due to the nature of the longer courses\, there are age restrictions 
 in place.\n\nThere will be a first aid and a qualified first aider availab
 le at registration. Registration is also a safe place for lost children to
  wait.\n\nPlease do not come to the event if you are unwell. Please bring 
 and carry any medication you might need\, especially inhalers and EpiPen
 ’s.\n\nIf you come across an injured or ill person\, please stop\, help 
 and get further help. There will likely be qualified first aiders on the c
 ourse who can stop to provide support.\n\nAll participants must return to 
 download\, whether they complete the course or not. This is to account for
  all competitors\, ensuring everyone’s safe return.\n\nCourses will clos
 e and controls collected in at 8pm sharp. If you are still out on the cour
 se at this time return to finish and download immediately.\n\n\nKit requir
 ements\nShorts and running vests are permitted for this race. Shoes with s
 pikes and metal dobs are not allowed. It can be muddy in places and theref
 ore shoes with some grip would be appropriate.\n\n\nParking\nParking is TB
 A but likely in the public car park on Dundrum Road/Main Street near the n
 orth end of the village. Coming from Belfast\, it is on the left hand side
  immediately after the GAA car park and opposite Sacred Heart Church\, BT3
 3 0SA. There are no parking fees.\n\n\nToilets\nTBC\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;
