 is event is Day 2 of the 3 Day Tollymore Festival of Orienteering which in
 cludes:\n\n 	The NI Urban League race on Friday.\n 	The NI Colour Series /
  LVO Club Champs event on Saturday.\n 	Camping at Tollymore on Friday and 
 Saturday nights.\n 	A BBQ after Saturday’s race.\n 	A fun FREE race on S

 family charge is for two seniors and one junior. Additional juniors go fre
 e.\n\n***If you are entering a family of individual runners and it comes t
 o more than £30 (£40 for non-members) then please contact the organiser 
 after you have paid for the individual Senior\, or Junior/Student entries 
 and we will arrange refund of the difference. Parents accompanying childre
 n go free.\n\nPlease note: Participants who are not members of British Ori
 enteering or of another orienteering federation are not covered by British
  Orienteering’s public liability insurance. You are welcome to enter thi
 s event\, but please understand that you are taking part at your own risk.
  For example\, if you were to accidentally injure a member of the public o
 r damage property during the event\, you would not be covered. Members of 
 Orienteering Ireland are covered by British Orienteering insurance. \n\n\
 nTerrain Summary\nOpen Mountain with intricate contours and rock features.
 \n\n\nPrevious Maps/Routegadget\nTBC\n\n\nCourse Notes\n⚪ There is no Wh
 ite course\, as it is not appropriate to the open mountain terrain.\n🟡 
 Yellow – km + m climb – along paths with more route choice decisions. 
 Appropriate for newcomers and younger juniors with some experience. Not su
 itable for buggies.\n🟠 Orange – km + m climb – skills needed to nav
 igate away from paths and more route choice decisions\, some compass skill
 s are expected. Aimed at novice adults and improving juniors.\n🟢 Light 
 Green – km + m climb – this course requires confident map reading and 
 compass skills.\n🟢 Short Green – km + m climb – this course is set 
 at the highest technical difficulty but shorter to attract those who may s
 truggle with a longer physical course.\n🟢 Green – km + m climb – te
 chnically and reasonably physically demanding course.\n🔵 Blue – km + 
 m climb – technically and physically demanding course.\n🟤 Brown – k
 m + m climb – technical and very physically demanding course.\n\n 	All m
 aps will be A4 and 1:10\,000 with 5m contours (TBC).\n 	All controls will 
 be SI Air enabled\, except Start and Finish which must be punched (TBC).\n
 \nNOTE: This event is also doubling up as the LVO Club Champs. If you wish
  to be deemed competitive within the Championships you must enter the corr
 ect course colour relating to your AgeClass. It will be assumed that you a
 re running your default AgeClass. Participants who choose to ‘run up’ 
 a course or class MUST THEN DECLARE which AgeClass they are competing in b
 y emailing the event organiser no later than midnight on Wednesday prior t
 o race.   Participants can also choose to ‘run down’ and\, although t
 hey will not be deemed competitive for the Champs\, their result will stil
 l be counted in the NICS and BOF ranking. See table below:\n\n\n\n\nLVO Cl

 is the race where the coveted gold and silver shoes are awarded\, given to
  the male and female athletes who post the fastest times from the final co
 ntrol to the finish line on the light green course and above.\n\n\n\n\n\n\
 n\n\n\n\n\n\nFirst Aid and Safety\nThere will be a first aid and a qualifi
 ed first aider available at registration. Registration is also a safe plac
 e for lost children to wait.\n\nPlease do not come to the event if you are
  unwell.\n\nPlease bring and carry any medication you might need\, especia
 lly inhalers and EpiPen’s.\n\nIf you come across an injured or ill perso
 n\, please stop\, help and get further help. There will likely be qualifie
 d first aiders on the course who can stop to provide support.\n\nAll parti
 cipants must return to download\, whether they complete the course or not.
  This is to account for all competitors\, ensuring everyone’s safe retur
 n.\n\nCourses will close and controls collected in at 3pm sharp. If you ar
 e still out on the course at this time return to finish and download immed
 iately.\n\n\nKit requirements\nFull body cover is mandatory.\n\nA whistle 
 (emergency alert is 6 loud blasts per minute) is mandatory.\n\nA waterproo
 f jacket may also be mandatory if the organisers decide the weather requir
 es one\, so bring one along just in case.\n\n\nParking\nTBC\n\n\nToilets\n
