nWe are very grateful to the landowners who were willing to allow us acces
 s to their land.\n\nThere is a brand-new fence running north-south up the
hill and the farmer does not want us to cross it – anyone found crossing
it will be DISQUALIFIED as we will cause us to lose access to the land! U
se gates at all times.\n\n\nIn the interests of maintaining excellent rela
tionships with our land owners and farmers please report any damage to low
walls and/or fences at download.\n\n⚪ There is no White course\, as it
is not appropriate to the open mountain terrain.\n🟡 Yellow – 2.2km +
75m climb – along paths with more route choice decisions. Appropriate fo
r newcomers and younger juniors with some experience. Not suitable for bug
 gies.\n🟠 Orange – 2.7km + 120m climb – skills needed to navigate aw
ay from paths and more route choice decisions\, some compass skills are ex
pected. Aimed at novice adults and improving juniors.\n🟢 Light Green
 – 3.3km + 155m climb – this course requires confident map reading and
 compass skills.\n🟢 Short Green – 3.0km + 90m climb – this course is
set at the highest technical difficulty but shorter to attract those who
 may struggle with a longer physical course.\n🟢 Green – 4.2km + 140m c
limb – technically and reasonably physically demanding course.\n🔵 Blu
 e – 5.9km + 230m climb – technically and physically demanding course.\
 n🟤 Brown – 7.8km + 290m climb – technical and very physically deman
ding course.\n\n All maps will be A4 and 1:7500 with 5m contours.\n All
controls will be SI Air enabled\, except Start and Finish which must be pu
nched.\n\nNOTE: This event is also doubling up as the LVO Club Champs. If
you wish to be deemed competitive within the Championships you must enter
the correct course colour relating to your AgeClass. It will be assumed th
at you are running your default AgeClass. Participants who choose to ‘ru
n up’ a course or class MUST THEN DECLARE which AgeClass they are compet
ing in by emailing the event organiser (entries@lvo.org.uk) no later than
midnight on Wednesday 17 June.   Participants can also choose to ‘run
down’ and\, although they will not be deemed competitive for the Champs\
