  of the 3 Day Tollymore Festival of Orienteering which includes the Newcas
 tle Urban race on Friday\; this NICS event in Tollymore on Saturday\; camp
 ing at Tollymore and a BBQ after this race on Saturday\, and fun relay and

 se Notes\n⚪ White – km + m climb – navigate along paths with few rou
 te choice decisions. Aimed at primary school aged newcomers.\n🟡 Yellow 
 – km + m climb – along paths with more route choice decisions. Appropr
 iate for newcomers and younger juniors with some experience.\n🟠 Orange 
 – km + m climb – skills needed to navigate away from paths and more ro
 ute choice decisions\, some compass skills are expected. Aimed at novice a
 dults and improving juniors.\n🟢 Light Green – km + m climb – this c
 ourse requires confident map reading and compass skills.\n🟢 Short Green
  – km + m climb – this course is set at the highest technical difficul
 ty but shorter to attract those who may struggle with a longer physical co
 urse.\n🟢 Green – km + m climb – technically and reasonably physical
 ly demanding course.\n🔵 Blue – km + m climb – technically and physi
 cally demanding course.\n🟤 Brown – km + m climb – technical and ver
 y physically demanding course.\n\n\nFirst Aid and Safety\nTollymore is a p
 opular forest park\; as such we will be sharing it with hikers\, dogs\, cy
 clists and horse riders. Avoid startling them and treat the public with co
 urtesy.\n\nThere will be a first aid and a qualified first aider available
  at registration. Registration is also a safe place for lost children to w
 ait.\n\nPlease do not come to the event if you are unwell.\n\nPlease bring
  and carry any medication you might need\, especially inhalers and EpiPen
 ’s.\n\nIf you come across an injured or ill person\, please stop\, help 
 and get further help. There will likely be qualified first aiders on the c
 ourse who can stop to provide support.\n\nAll participants must return to 
 download\, whether they complete the course or not. This is to account for
  all competitors\, ensuring everyone’s safe return.\n\nCourses will clos
 e and controls collected in at 3pm sharp. If you are still out on the cour
 se at this time return to finish and download immediately.\n\n\nKit requir
 ements\nFull body cover is mandatory.\n\nA whistle (emergency alert is 6 l
 oud blasts per minute) is mandatory.\n\nA waterproof jacket may also be ma
 ndatory if the organisers decide the weather requires one\, so bring one a
