DESCRIPTION:I am very pleased to say that the Tollymore Festival of Oriente
 ering is back for 2021 after missing 2020 due the restrictions Imposed by 
 Covid 19.\n\nLooking forward to seeing you all as we cautiously return to

  trophy and Honor\, his wife will also be in attendance. All six will join

 es\nThis year we have a Colour Series orienteering event (NIOA Colour Seri
 es 2) on Saturday 26th\, with a range of courses to suit all ages and abil

  brown and blue: South East area of map (controls 15 and 16) was not cover
 ed by recent mapping\, therefore there are many new mountain bike trails a
 nd some differences in existing trails. It is advised to use these with ca
 ution.\nEntries for Colour Series\, Camping and Barbeque\nPre-entry is req
 uired. Entries are now open on SI entries (entries close on Wednesday 23rd

 n\nIn order to reduce the congregation of people at the start there are st
 art windows of 15 minutes. Please indicate which start window you prefer.\
 n\nStarts are from 11:00 to 13:00 and the course will close at 15:00.\n\nR
 egistration will be at the Mobile Orienteering Office (MOO) which will be 
 parked in the family camping area adjacent to the toilet block (which will
  be open).\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;\nNIOA AGM\nThe Northern Ireland Orienteering Ass
 ociation Annual General Meeting will be held at 15:00 in the camping field
  (weather permitting). This will include the unveiling and presentation of
  the Colin Henderson Trophy for services to orienteering. This is a new tr
 ophy in honour of the late Colin Henderson MBE who played such a part in a
 ll aspects of orienteering.\nBarbeque\nThe Barbeque follows at 17:00 and w
 ill be provided by The Mulberry Tree. Please indicate on SI Entries your p
 reference for meat or vegetarian. You may wish to bring your own cups\, pl
 ates and cutlery to reduce single use plastic.\n\nBarbeque costs £12 for 
 adult and £6 for juniors under 12.\nBoules\nThere will be a Boules knock 
 out tournament – if you have a set of boules please bring them with you 
 and we can run several matches at the same time.\nCamping\nCamping is avai
 lable for the Saturday evening. Cost is £6 per adult\, again please book 
 on SI entries. Note you do not have to enter the orienteering competition 
 in order to book camping and BBQ.\n\nCamping is not arranged for the Frida
 y evening in the group campsite\, it is only booked for the Saturday eveni
 ng. Apologies for those who wished to stay on the Friday. There may be ava
 ilability in the Tollymore main campsite.\nJunior Training\, Fun Score and
  MapRun6 Activities\nSunday morning will have Junior training\, and at 11:
 00 there will be a fun score activity. For the Score\, you have 1 hour to 
 visit as many controls as you can\, penalties for late return.\n\nIf you w
 ant even more of an orienteering fix\, then there are also three MapRun6 c
 ourses available in Newcastle\, two linear courses of orange standard and

 ing\, CPR and Defib Training/Demo\nWould you like to know how to help save
  the life of a fellow runner or family member who is suffering a respirato
 ry or cardiac arrest? Any of us could end up being the first on the scene\
 , the actions of a first responder are so important before a designated fi
 rst aider arrives.\n\nRic hopes to bring along a training dummy and defibr
 illator and carry out basic training/demonstration to anyone interested. M
