Places are limited\, so please only sign up if your chi ld will be able to attend the majority of the sessions.\n\nAll children mu st be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the coaching\, up to a m aximum of four children per adult. This is not a drop-off service!\n\nSes sions are primarily for children who are aged 9 upwards. It has a network of paths and tracks to help navigate\, as wel l as runnable forest with a variety of features. Route choice in orienteer ing is the strategic decision between alternative paths to a control\, wei ghing distance\, climb\, runnability\, technical difficulty\, and risk to determine the fastest and most reliable option. As well as times of exercise there will be periods of coaching when you will be stationary\, so layer up – bring along an extra jumper\, a hat and gloves to keep comfortable. There is likely to be a bag drop off point with a coach present or close by.
