Generally f or experienced orienteers\, though a VERY adventurous new adult might give this a bash.\n\n💙SHORT BLUE – 4.5km / 65m – difficult orienteering \, our most challenging course on offer – please note for added challeng e the tracks/paths/rides have been removed from the map for this course.\n \nCourses have been planned to make the best use of the technical sections of Hillsborough Forest Park. Due to the terrain\, courses have been plann ed to be more of a middle distance feel\, so expect plenty of changes in d irection and legs to be technically demanding! The Orange and Yellow cours es have been planned at the upper end of relevant technical guidelines\, s o make use of handrails (ditches etc) as well as paths. They offer corner cutting opportunities and will provide an entertaining challenge. The Yell ow course is not suitable for push chairs.\n\nControls will be SIAC enable d.\n\nClothing &\; Safety:\n\nFull length leg cover is very strongly ad vised. Registration and download will be in the car park.\n\nThere w ill be a short walk along the main road to access the side gate into the f orest\, please stay on the footpath available and be careful crossing the road to the gate. We hope to have a marshal keeping an eye out for you all . Once in the forest there is 5 minute walk to the start. The finish is ne ar the gate\, please return to the car park for download.\n\nToilets:\n\nH RP is responsible for toilet facilities at the Fort and Courthouse and hav e them shut at the moment.
