DESCRIPTION:Score Training 1 - Barnett Demesne and Forest.\n\nThis is the f
 irst of two training activities\, (i.e. not formal\, so no results publish
 ed)\, to help prepare us for the LVO Club Score Champs on Sunday 13 Februa
 ry.\n\nScore events do not have a fixed course but a fixed time (45 minute
 s) to collect as many controls as you possibly can choosing your own route
  within the time limit.\n\nThere is a 'mass' start - everyone starts at th
 e same time and so\, in theory\, should all finish together 45 minutes lat
 er - so it is a fun\, social event.  The start will still be a punch star
 t\, and there will be a punch finish.\n\nMeeting\n\nParking\, registration
  and briefing will be at the main Car park at Malone House.\n\nRegister/pa
 y from 1:30pm.\n\nStart briefing will be at 1:50pm sharp\, before walking 
 to the start.\n\nKit and Clothing\n\nAll the usual kit\, full body cover\,
  compass plus a watch to keep an eye on your timing. Every minute (or part
  of a minute) late will have a 10 point deduction.\n\nStudded shoes are re
 commended due to the slippery slopes and leaf accumulations.\n\nIf weather
  is poor a whistle and waterproof coat may be mandatory.\n\nEntry\n\nIf yo

 day 12 Jan\, for the correct number of maps to be printed.\n\nPayment will
  be 'on the day' - cost includes map and SI dibber (electronic timing) hir
 e. Please bring correct change if possible.\n\nNote:\n\n 	Map bags may not
  be available\, so if you have one\, please bring your own waterproof map 
 cover. \n 	Lost dibbers are charged at replacement cost £30\n\nThis is a 
 non-competitive activity and everyone welcome to attend. You can go round 
 as an individual or a pair/group.\n\nMembers: Senior £4\, Junior £2\, Ma
 x charge for family (2 adults + n children\, each with own map) £10.\n\nN
 on-members: Senior £6\, Junior £2\, Max charge for family (2 adults + n 
 children\, each with own map) £14.\n\nFamilies or groups wishing to go ro
 und together sharing a single map will only be charged for one entry. e.g.
  two juniors running round together = £2. A family of two adults and a ch
 ild (non-members) = £6.\n\nGet Annual Membership today and enter at the M
 ember rate!\n\nPlease note: Non-members who compete in more than three eve
 nts are not covered by our public liability insurance. \n\nRefreshments\n
 \nThere will be tea/coffee and buns afterwards.\n\nWe are being environmen
 tally friendly and cups will not be provided so please bring your own 'kee
 p' cup.\n\nThere will be an honest box for donations towards our Junior pr
 ogramme.
