 ore confident\, and find friends to run about with in forests and up mount
 ains? Would like to learn a new outdoor sport that all the family can take
  part in?\n\nTaking place on the last Sunday of the month\, LVO invites yo
 u to Running Wild\, a chance for like-minded families to learn about orien
 teering together and find out about how to get involved in our exciting cl
 ub and sport.\n\nSessions are for children in Primary 4 and above. If chil
 dren are younger\, please get in contact with us (email juniors_families@l
 vo.org.uk) to find out other exciting orienteering opportunities for them.
 \n\nAll children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the c
 oaching\, up to a maximum of four children per adult. This is not a drop-o

 istration. Coaching takes place 11am to 12pm\, with a chance to catch up w
 ith coaches and friends over tea/coffee/squash until 12.30pm.\n\n\nPrice\n
 💰 Training is free for members of LVO\, NIOA and Orienteering Ireland.\
 n\n💰 Non-members are also welcome to attend any of our activities and e
 vents\, but there is a £3 fee per child for this activity\, up to a max o
 f £10 per family. After attending three orienteering events\, people must
  join a club so they are insured. For 2025 membership\, JOIN HERE via the 
 British Orienteering website\, selecting LVO as your club.\n\n\nTerrain Su
 mmary\nTollymore forest is a great place to discover the sport of orientee
 ring. It has a network of paths and tracks to help navigate\, as well as r
 unnable forest with a variety of features. The forest is popular with hike
 rs\, runners\, dog walkers\, horse riders and mountain bikers\, so take ca
 re and treat others with courtesy.\n\n\nPrevious Maps/Routegadget\nTollymo

 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Groups will be organised into children with the 
 same level of technical ability\, each having a dedicated coach.\n\n\nKit 
 requirements\n🧥👖 Full body cover is mandatory. If the weather is col
 d or wet – a waterproof jacket will be mandatory. As well as times of ex
 ercise there will be periods of coaching when you will be stationary\, so 
 layer up – bring along an extra jumper\, a hat and gloves to keep comfor
 table. There is likely to be a bag drop off point with a coach present or 
 close by. NOTE: the club or coach is not responsible for the safe keeping 
 of the kit\, it is dropped off at your own risk\, so please leave any valu
 ables in the car. All should carry whistles.\n\n\nParking\n£5 at entrance
