  more confident\, and find friends to run about with in forests and up mou
 ntains? Would like to learn a new outdoor sport that all the family can ta
 ke part in?\n\nTaking place on the last Sunday of the month\, LVO invites 
 you to Running Wild\, a chance for like-minded families to learn about ori
 enteering together and find out about how to get involved in our exciting 
 club and sport.\n\nSessions are for children in Primary 4 and above. If ch
 ildren are younger\, please get in contact with us (email juniors_families
 @lvo.org.uk) to find out other exciting orienteering opportunities for the
 m.\n\nAll children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the
  coaching\, up to a maximum of four children per adult. This is not a drop

 imes\nArrive 9.25am for registration. Coaching takes place 9.30am to 10.30
 am\, with a chance to catch up with coaches and friends over tea/coffee/sq
 uash until 11am.\n\n\nPrice\n💰 Training is free for members of LVO\, NI
 OA and Orienteering Ireland.\n\n💰 Non-members are also welcome to atten
 d any of our activities and events\, but there is a £3 fee per child for 
 this activity\, up to a max of £10 per family. After attending three orie
 nteering events\, people must join a club so they are insured. For 2025 me
 mbership\, JOIN HERE via the British Orienteering website\, selecting LVO 
 as your club.\n\n\nTerrain Summary\nTollymore forest is a great place to d
 iscover the sport of orienteering. It has a network of paths and tracks to
  help navigate\, as well as runnable forest with a variety of features. Th
 e forest is popular with hikers\, runners\, dog walkers\, horse riders and
  mountain bikers\, so take care and treat others with courtesy.\n\n\nPrevi

 ed into children with the same level of technical ability\, each having a 
 dedicated coach.\n\n\nKit requirements\n🧥👖 Full body cover is advise
 d. If the weather is cold or wet – a waterproof jacket will be mandatory
 . As well as times of exercise there will be periods of coaching when you 
 will be stationary\, so layer up – bring along an extra jumper\, a hat a
 nd gloves to keep comfortable. There is likely to be a bag drop off point 
 with a coach present or close by. NOTE: the club or coach is not responsib
 le for the safe keeping of the kit\, it is dropped off at your own risk\, 
 so please leave any valuables in the car. All should carry whistles.\n\n\n
