  more confident\, and find friends to run about with in forests and up mou
 ntains? Would like to learn a new outdoor sport that all the family can ta
 ke part in?\n\nTaking place on the last Sunday of the month\, LVO invites 
 you to Running Wild\, a chance for like-minded families to learn about ori
 enteering together and find out about how to get involved in our exciting 
 club and sport.\n\nSessions are for children in Primary 4 and above. If ch
 ildren are younger\, please get in contact with us (email chair@lvo.org.uk
 ) to find out other exciting orienteering opportunities for them.\n\nAll c
 hildren must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the coaching\,
  up to a maximum of four children per adult. This is not a drop-off servic

 0.45am for registration. Coaching takes place 11am to 12pm\, with a chance
  to catch up with coaches and friends over tea/coffee/squash until 12.30pm
 .\n\n\nPrice\n💰 Training is free for members of LVO\, NIOA and Orientee
 ring Ireland.\n\n💰 Non-members are also welcome to attend any of our ac
 tivities and events\, but there is a £3 fee per child for this activity\,
  up to a max of £10 per family. After attending three orienteering events
 \, people must join a club so they are insured. For 2025 membership\, JOIN
  HERE via the British Orienteering website\, selecting LVO as your club.\n
 \n\nTerrain Summary\nTollymore forest is a great place to discover the spo
 rt of orienteering. It has a network of paths and tracks to help navigate\
 , as well as runnable forest with a variety of features. The forest is pop
 ular with hikers\, runners\, dog walkers\, horse riders and mountain biker
 s\, so take care and treat others with courtesy.\n\n\nPrevious Maps/Routeg

 n with the same level of technical ability\, each having a dedicated coach
 .\n\n\nKit requirements\n🧥👖 Full body cover is mandatory. If the wea
 ther is cold or wet – a waterproof jacket will be mandatory. As well as 
 times of exercise there will be periods of coaching when you will be stati
 onary\, so layer up – bring along an extra jumper\, a hat and gloves to 
 keep comfortable. There is likely to be a bag drop off point with a coach 
 present or close by. NOTE: the club or coach is not responsible for the sa
 fe keeping of the kit\, it is dropped off at your own risk\, so please lea
 ve any valuables in the car. All should carry whistles.\n\n\nParking\n£5 
 at entrance\; free if you have annual pass (cost of £40).\n\n\n\nToilets\
