 tains? Would like to learn a new outdoor sport that all the family can tak
 e part in?\n\nTaking place on the last Sunday of the month\, LVO invites y
 ou to Running Wild\, a chance for like-minded families to learn about orie
 nteering together and find out about how to get involved in our exciting c
 lub and sport.\n\nSessions are for children in Primary 4 and above. If chi
 ldren are younger\, please get in contact with us (email juniors_families@
 lvo.org.uk) to find out other exciting orienteering opportunities for them
 .\n\nAll children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the 
 coaching\, up to a maximum of four children per adult. This is not a drop-
 off service.\n\n\nEntry/Registration\nOpening start of June\n\n\nRegistrat
 ion closes\nMidnight\, Tuesday 23 June 2026\n\n\nStart Times\nArrive 9.25a
 m for registration. Coaching takes place 9.30am to 10.30am\, with a chance
  to catch up with coaches and friends over tea/coffee/squash until 11am.\n
 \n\nPrice\n💰 Training is free for members of LVO\, NIOA and Orienteerin
 g Ireland.\n\n💰 Non-members are also welcome to attend any of our activ
 ities and events\, but there is a £3 fee per child for this activity\, up
  to a max of £10 per family. After attending three orienteering events\, 
 people must join a club so they are insured. For 2025 membership\, JOIN HE
 RE via the British Orienteering website\, selecting LVO as your club.\n\n\
 nTerrain Summary\nTollymore forest is a great place to discover the sport 
 of orienteering. It has a network of paths and tracks to help navigate\, a
 s well as runnable forest with a variety of features. The forest is popula
 r with hikers\, runners\, dog walkers\, horse riders and mountain bikers\,
  so take care and treat others with courtesy.\n\n\nPrevious Maps/Routegadg

 ourses\n👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Groups will be organised into children w
 ith the same level of technical ability\, each having a dedicated coach.\n
 \n\nKit requirements\n🧥👖 Full body cover is mandatory. If the weathe
 r is cold or wet – a waterproof jacket will be mandatory. As well as tim
 es of exercise there will be periods of coaching when you will be stationa
 ry\, so layer up – bring along an extra jumper\, a hat and gloves to kee
 p comfortable. There is likely to be a bag drop off point with a coach pre
 sent or close by. NOTE: the club or coach is not responsible for the safe 
 keeping of the kit\, it is dropped off at your own risk\, so please leave 
 any valuables in the car. All should carry whistles.\n\n\nParking\n£5 at 
 entrance\; free if you have annual pass (cost of £40).\n\n\n\nToilets\nBe
