 Event Format\nWant your kids to be more active\, more confident\, and find
  friends to run about with in forests and up mountains? Would like to lear
 n a new outdoor sport that all the family can take part in?\n\nTaking plac
 e on the last Sunday of the month\, LVO invites you to Running Wild\, a ch
 ance for like-minded families to learn about orienteering together and fin
 d out about how to get involved in our exciting club and sport.\n\nSession
 s are for children in Primary 4 and above. If children are younger\, pleas
 e get in contact with us (email chair@lvo.org.uk) to find out other exciti
 ng orienteering opportunities for them.\n\nAll children must be accompanie
 d by an adult for the duration of the coaching\, up to a maximum of four c
 hildren per adult. This is not a drop-off service.\n\n\nEntry/Registration
 \nRegister via this ONLINE FORM.\n\n\nRegistration closes\nMidnight\, Tues
 day 28 January 2025\n\n\nStart Times\nArrive 10.45am for registration. Coa
 ching takes place 11am to 12pm\, with a chance to catch up with coaches an
 d friends over tea/coffee/squash until 12.30pm.\n\n\nPrice\n💰 Training 
 is free for members of LVO\, NIOA and Orienteering Ireland.\n\n💰 Non-me
 mbers are also welcome to attend any of our activities and events\, but th
 ere is a £3 fee per child for this activity\, up to a max of £10 per fam
 ily. After attending three orienteering events\, people must join a club s
 o they are insured. For 2025 membership\, JOIN HERE via the British Orient
 eering website\, selecting LVO as your club.\n\n\nTerrain Summary\nTollymo
 re forest is a great place to discover the sport of orienteering. It has a
  network of paths and tracks to help navigate\, as well as runnable forest
  with a variety of features. The forest is popular with hikers\, runners\,
  dog walkers\, horse riders and mountain bikers\, so take care and treat o

 👧‍👦 Groups will be organised into children with the same level of 
 technical ability\, each having a dedicated coach.\n\n\nKit requirements\n
 🧥👖 Full body cover is mandatory. If the weather is cold or wet – a
  waterproof jacket will be mandatory. As well as times of exercise there w
 ill be periods of coaching when you will be stationary\, so layer up – b
 ring along an extra jumper\, a hat and gloves to keep comfortable. There i
 s likely to be a bag drop off point with a coach present or close by. NOTE
 : the club or coach is not responsible for the safe keeping of the kit\, i
 t is dropped off at your own risk\, so please leave any valuables in the c
 ar. All should carry whistles.\n\n\nParking\n£5 at entrance\; free if you
