 more Mountain)\n\n\nEvent Format\nWant your kids to be more active\, more 
 confident\, and find friends to run about with in forests and up mountains
 ? Would like to learn a new outdoor sport that all the family can take par
 t in?\n\nTaking place on the last Sunday of the month\, LVO invites you to
  Running Wild\, a chance for like-minded families to learn about orienteer
 ing together and find out about how to get involved in our exciting club a
 nd sport.\n\nSessions are for children in Primary 4 and above. If children
  are younger\, please get in contact with us (email chair@lvo.org.uk) to f
 ind out other exciting orienteering opportunities for them.\n\nAll childre
 n must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the coaching\, up to
  a maximum of four children per adult. This is not a drop-off service.\n\n
 \nEntry/Registration\nRegister via this ONLINE FORM.\n\n\nRegistration clo
 ses\nMidnight\, Tuesday 25 February 2025\n\n\nStart Times\nArrive 10.45am 
 for registration. Coaching takes place 11am to 12pm\, with a chance to cat
 ch up with coaches and friends over tea/coffee/squash until 12.30pm.\n\n\n
 Price\n💰 Training is free for members of LVO\, NIOA and Orienteering Ir
 eland.\n\n💰 Non-members are also welcome to attend any of our activitie
 s and events\, but there is a £3 fee per child for this activity\, up to 
 a max of £10 per family.  For 2025 membership\, JOIN HERE via the Britis
 h Orienteering website\, selecting LVO as your club. Annual prices are:\n\
 n 	£10 per junior (20 years old and younger).\n 	£20 per young adult (20
 -25 years old).\n 	£26 per senior (26 years old+).\n 	You pay a maximum o
 f £51 for a family of two seniors/young adults and any number of juniors.
 \n\n\n\n\nTerrain Summary\nMeelmore is open mountain side with few paths\,
  many rock features and intricate contour details.\n\n\nPrevious Maps/Rout
 egadget\nMeelmore was last used for a colour series event in June 2023. A

 be organised into children with the same level of technical ability\, each
  having a dedicated coach.\n\n\nKit requirements\n🧥👖 Full body cover
  is mandatory. If the weather is cold or wet – a waterproof jacket will 
 be mandatory. As well as times of exercise there will be periods of coachi
 ng when you will be stationary\, so layer up – bring along an extra jump
 er\, a hat and gloves to keep comfortable. There is likely to be a bag dro
 p off point with a coach present or close by. NOTE: the club or coach is n
 ot responsible for the safe keeping of the kit\, it is dropped off at your
  own risk\, so please leave any valuables in the car. All should carry whi
 stles.\n\n\nParking\n🚗 Please park at Meelmore Lodge in the overflow ca
 rpark beside the campsite. Pay for parking in the Lodge (£4\, cash or car
