 st Park Main Carpark\n\n\nEvent Format\nWant your kids to be more active\,
  more confident\, and find friends to run about with in forests and up mou
 ntains? Would like to learn a new outdoor sport that all the family can ta
 ke part in?\n\nTaking place on the last Sunday of the month\, LVO invites 
 you to Running Wild\, a chance for like-minded families to learn about ori
 enteering together and find out about how to get involved in our exciting 
 club and sport.\n\nSessions are for children in Primary 4 and above. If ch
 ildren are younger\, please get in contact with us (email juniors_families
 @lvo.org.uk) to find out other exciting orienteering opportunities for the
 m.\n\nAll children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the
  coaching\, up to a maximum of four children per adult. This is not a drop
 -off service.\n\n\nEntry/Registration\nRegister here!\n\n\nRegistration cl
 oses\nMidnight\, Wednesday 23 April 2025\n\n\nStart Times\nArrive 10.45am 
 for registration. Coaching takes place 11am to 12pm\, with a chance to cat
 ch up with coaches and friends over tea/coffee/squash until 12.30pm.\n\n\n
 Price\n💰 Training is free for members of LVO\, NIOA and Orienteering Ir
 eland.\n\n💰 Non-members are also welcome to attend any of our activitie
 s and events\, but there is a £3 fee per child for this activity\, up to 
 a max of £10 per family. After attending three orienteering events\, peop
 le must join a club so they are insured. For 2025 membership\, JOIN HERE v
 ia the British Orienteering website\, selecting LVO as your club.\n\n\nTer
 rain Summary\nTollymore forest is a great place to discover the sport of o
 rienteering. It has a network of paths and tracks to help navigate\, as we
 ll as runnable forest with a variety of features. The forest is popular wi
 th hikers\, runners\, dog walkers\, horse riders and mountain bikers\, so 
 take care and treat others with courtesy.\n\n\nPrevious Maps/Routegadget\n

 es\n👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Groups will be organised into children with 
 the same level of technical ability\, each having a dedicated coach.\n\n\n
 Kit requirements\n🧥👖 Full body cover is mandatory. If the weather is
  cold or wet – a waterproof jacket will be mandatory. As well as times o
 f exercise there will be periods of coaching when you will be stationary\,
  so layer up – bring along an extra jumper\, a hat and gloves to keep co
 mfortable. There is likely to be a bag drop off point with a coach present
  or close by. NOTE: the club or coach is not responsible for the safe keep
 ing of the kit\, it is dropped off at your own risk\, so please leave any 
 valuables in the car. All should carry whistles.\n\n\nParking\n£5 at entr
 ance\; free if you have annual pass (cost of £40).\n\n\n\nToilets\nBeside
