Members of Orienteering Ireland are covered by British Orienteering insurance. \n\n\nTerrain Summ ary\nTBC\n\n\nPrevious Maps/Routegadget\nTBC\n\n\nCourse Notes\n\n\n Shor t – km + m climb TBC – Suitable for unaccompanied juniors under the ag e of 16.\n Medium – km + m climb TBC\n Long – km + m climb TBC\n\nFo r the Northern Ireland Urban League\, competitors may enter any course the y wish (with under 16s restricted to the Short course). The scoring system for the league takes account of age class and gender and is explained her e.\n\n\nFirst Aid and Safety\nTake care on all roads\, use footpaths when possible. The short course is suitable for Juniors as it does not involve road crossings or areas where there is likely to concerns over vehicle tra ffic. Due to the nature of the longer courses\, juniors aged under 16 on t he day are restricted to the Short course unless accompanied by an adult.\ n\nThere will be a first aid and a qualified first aider available at regi stration. Registration is also a safe place for lost children to wait.\n\n Please do not come to the event if you are unwell. Please bring and carry any medication you might need\, especially inhalers and EpiPen’s.\n\nIf you come across an injured or ill person\, please stop\, help and get furt her help. There will likely be qualified first aiders on the course who ca n stop to provide support.\n\nAll participants must return to download\, w hether they complete the course or not. This is to account for all competi tors\, ensuring everyone’s safe return.\n\nCourses will close and contro ls collected in at 8pm sharp. If you are still out on the course at this t ime return to finish and download immediately.\n\n\nKit requirements\nShor ts and running vests are permitted for this race. Shoes with spikes and me tal dobs are not allowed.
