Lagan Valley Orienteers invite you to Jordanstown for the NIOA Sprint Championship 2021.

Directions and Car parking
- From Belfast take the M2, keep right at the fork to continue M5 and follow signs for Whiteabbey/Carrickfergus. At Rushpark Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A2, leading onto Shore Rd/A2. At the lights opposite Loughshore Park, turn left up the Jordanstown Road.
- Please enter UUJ through the Jordanstown Road entrance and not the main Shore Road Entrance.
- Follow signage to park in Car Park 2, located towards the accommodation block (if it is full or unavailable, use Car Park 1 at the rear of main building).
- We have been informed that car parking is free at weekends.
Course Safety
- Accommodation blocks have been in use the past few weekends for tourists and athletes, so watch out for any vehicles and pedestrians around the student village.
- Please watch where you’re going when running around blind corners. All courses/classes overlap the same site, and runners of all ages may be approaching controls and corners from opposing directions.
- Water – There will be no water suppled at these events so please bring your own drinks and be sure to stay well hydrated – especially if the weather is as hot as it has been for the past couple of weeks.
Toilets – The toilets in the UUJ sports centre are open for use by participants.
Entries
Pre-entry is required. Entries is via SI Entries (entries close on Thursday 22nd July 2021 at 19:00). The entry link covers both the Sprint and Middle distance Championships, which are being held on the same day and are located close to each other.

*If you are entering a family and it comes to more than the rates in the bottom row then please contact the organiser after you have paid for the individual Senior, or Junior/Student entries and we will arrange a refund of the difference. Parents accompanying children go free. If you enter both events you will get a series discount.
COVID
Please note carefully the COVID measures described in the online entry form.
Start Windows
To reduce the congregation of people at the start there are start windows of 15 minutes. Please indicate which start window you prefer when entering. Starts are from 11:00 to 12:30.
Registration
Registration is not required if using your own SI Card – proceed directly to start. Hire cards can be collected from the Organiser at the download car.
