  Summary\nThe underfoot conditions on the main forest trails and deep in t
 he forest is generally not too bad. However there are some very wet and mu
 ddy places\, especially along the small forest paths which are cut up by m
 ountain bikers\, so wearing you nice white trainers is not a good idea. Th
 e better grip you can have\, the better – to get up and over the earth w
 alls\, through small water channels and across steep slopes. Some areas of
  runnable forest (marked white on the map) have areas with fallen trees.\n

 ht Championships will have the following classes. Competitors can choose t
 o run up a class\, e.g. an M50 may want to run the Long course but must th
 en compete as M Open:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCourse\nClasses\n\n\nLong (approx 5
 k)\nM/W Open\n\n\nMedium (approx 3.8k)\nM/W Vet 45+\,  M Super Vet 55+\n\
 n\nShort (approx 2.8k)\nW Super vet 55+\, M/W Ultra vet 65+\, M/W16\n\n\n\
 n\n\n\nFirst Aid and Safety\nThere will be a first aid and a qualified fir
 st aider available at registration. Registration is also a safe place for 
 lost children to wait.\n\nPlease do not come to the event if you are unwel
 l.\n\nPlease bring and carry any medication you might need\, especially in
 halers and EpiPen’s.\n\nIf you come across an injured or ill person\, pl
 ease stop\, help and get further help. There will likely be qualified firs
 t aiders on the course who can stop to provide support.\n\nAll participant
 s must return to download\, whether they complete the course or not. This 
 is to account for all competitors\, ensuring everyone’s safe return.\n\n
 Courses will close and controls collected in at 3pm sharp. If you are stil
 l out on the course at this time return to finish and download immediately
 .\n\n\nKit requirements\nFull body cover is mandatory.\n\nA whistle (emerg
 ency alert is 6 loud blasts per minute) is mandatory.\n\nA waterproof jack
 et may also be mandatory if the organisers decide the weather requires one
 \, so bring one along just in case.\n\n\nParking\nCar Parking will be in W
 oodburn Presbyterian Church Car Park.\n\n\nToilets\nThere are toilets loca
 ted in the church hall building – please no muddy shoes or metal dobs in
 side!\n\n\n
