SUMMARY:NI Colour Series 5 - Portstewart Strand
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nA second Colour Series event on the beautiful Dunes of
Portstewart. A lovely area to plan and I hope a great day’s sport for a
ll runners. There have been some changes to the map (1:5000) with a large
area of scrub now removed. The courses will all start well towards the c
entre of the map and on the banks of the Bann! A long walk from the beach
parking\, but worth it to give the white and yellow a nice path run back
and the more technical courses full access to the best terrain Portstewa
rt has to offer. \n\nCharlie\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nParking on the beach – 200m
from the entrance. The beach is owned by the National Trust and there is
a £5 charge per car. There are toilets and a cafe at the entrance to the
beach. Dogs must be kept on a lead. \n\nRegistration opens at 10.30am\n\n
Starts from 11.30 –1.00pm. Courses close at 3.00pm\n\nIf parents want sp
lit starts we will try to facilitate starts before 11.00am. \n\nThere will
