 vent will be welcomed with open arms! And you'll still get a run\, of cour
 se.\n\nNow that spring is here (really?) orienteering is heading to the hi
 lls! We’re off to beautiful Meelmore in the Mourne Mountains for the sec
 ond Northern Ireland Colour Series event of the year. Experienced competit
 ors will enjoy the challenging courses that Mark Stephens has planned on t
 his great orienteering terrain but remember there are courses too for all 
 ages and abilities. Newcomers are especially welcome.\n\nParking is at Mee
 lmore Lodge and there are toilets close to the car park. If you want a sho
 wer\, please drop a contribution into the honesty box at the MOO - I'm sur
 e Meelmore Lodge would appreciate it. There is also a cosy cafe where we c
 an meet up afterwards and enjoy a meal or a coffee. Meelmore Lodge always 
 welcomes orienteers (muddy feet and all) so please support them if you can

  we're on exposed mountain and although the calendar says it's summer time
  the weather man says its winter. The mountain is extremely wet from this 
 week's rain and there is a lot of water in the streams and the Trassey riv
 er. Please choose a course that is appropriate to your experience.\n\nUnfo
 rtunately the nature of the terrain means we are not able to provide a Whi
 te course.\n\nThe Yellow course is on the open mountain. It does not stay 
 close to the wall as published earlier but it is on paths. Unfortunately t
 he mountain is not baby buggy friendly.\n\nThere is a 1k walk to the Start
 . The walk includes some rough ground so it might take you longer that you
  think.\n\nIt’s mandatory to carry a whistle (you can buy one at Registr
 ation). If this week's wintry weather persists you will be required to wea
 r a suitable weatherproof coat. Please bring one with you as a final decis
