 e charged at £30.\n\n\nTerrain Summary\nThe underfoot conditions on the m
 ain forest trails and deep in the forest is generally not too bad. However
  there are some very wet and muddy places\, especially along the small for
 est paths which are cut up by mountain bikers\, so wearing you nice white 
 trainers is not a good idea. The better grip you can have\, the better –
  to get up and over the earth walls\, through small water channels and acr
 oss steep slopes. Some areas of runnable forest (marked white on the map) 
 have areas with fallen trees.\n\n\nPrevious Maps/Routegadget\nThe last NIC

 ourse Notes\n🟡 Yellow – km + m climb – along paths with more route 
 choice decisions. Appropriate for newcomers and younger juniors with some 
 experience.\n🟠 Orange – km + m climb – skills needed to navigate aw
 ay from paths and more route choice decisions\, some compass skills are ex
 pected. Aimed at novice adults and improving juniors.\n🟢 Light Green 
 – km + m climb – this course requires confident map reading and compas
 s skills.\n🔵 Short Blue – km + m climb – technically and physically
  demanding course.\n\n\nFirst Aid and Safety\nWatch out for other park use
 rs.\n\nThere will be a first aid and a qualified first aider available at 
 registration. Registration is also a safe place for lost children to wait.
 \n\nPlease do not come to the event if you are unwell.Please bring and car
 ry any medication you might need\, especially inhalers and EpiPen’s.\n\n
 If you come across an injured or ill person\, please stop\, help and get f
 urther help. There will likely be qualified first aiders on the course who
  can stop to provide support.\n\nAll participants must return to download\
 , whether they complete the course or not. This is to account for all comp
 etitors\, ensuring everyone’s safe return.\n\nCourses will close and con
 trols collected in at 3pm sharp. If you are still out on the course at thi
 s time return to finish and download immediately.\n\n\nKit requirements\nF
 ull body cover is mandatory.\n\nA whistle (emergency alert is 6 loud blast
 s per minute) is mandatory.\n\nA waterproof jacket may also be mandatory i
 f the organisers decide the weather requires one\, so bring one along just

 lding -  – please no muddy shoes or metal dobs inside!\n\n\n
